Learning

Yesterday I talked about getting some amazing shots right out of the camera. Well, I had a similar experience today. I photograph knitting to practice. Today, doing my daily practice shots, this came straight out of the camera. (Only digital additions were text and resizing.) The clarity and sharpness astounded me- I used to have a lot of issues photographing fingering weight yarn and size 3 needles! I’m slowly getting there with being better… if I can get off auto! ;)

  1. As a mom of three kids, you would think I could hold my own with a camera, but no…. we have many memories and many, many poor quality snapshots of momentous events. I have been trying out shooting pix of my FOs and WIPs, so I am gaining confidence. I like how you suggest to get off “auto” for better clarity. i will try that!
